Eris' Resource Dump

I'll be compiling resources about and for various topics and social struggles on this website. I hope you find something of use.

Reason, like information, wants to be free.

Not everyone can slog through pages and pages of marxist or critical theory, so I'm gonna compile tools and resources to help you all access theory as best as our technology allows us to.

Text to Speech
ReadAloud and MaryTTS

Read Aloud is a free browser add-on that adds text-to-speech (TTS) utility to fire-fox and chrome. I recommend getting it in case you are interested in any of the text based theory resources in this website, and are more of an audio based learner. Do keep in mind it can be a little buggy, so just in case this tool doesn't seem to work for you, there are other free solutions for TTS like the MaryTTS engine.

Youtube Channels

These are some of the better youtube channels that i've found for learning about, or finding audiobooks of theory.

Zoe is a PhD scholar specializing in 19th-20th century European anarchist history and theory who runs one of the best youtube channels on such topics, she uploads interview, documentaries, theory readings, and explanations on a fairly regular basis. She's also recently ventured into certain topics pertaining to LGBTQ+ liberation.

Red Plateaus is a youtube channel that uploads videos discussing Marxist theory accompanied by clear and concise explinations, alongside some variety videos ala top 5 lists. It's pretty small but contains some invaluable information for anyone interested in grasping the basics of Marxism without having to slog through Kapitals' thousands of pages.

A community run channel where different members read different anarchist theory texts and upload them as audiobooks free-of-charge, they're also all available as podcasts on every podcast platform.

A fairly small channel that uploads videos on a large variety of critical theory, philosophy, and Marxist theory. Some explanatory videos and some reading videos, I find his videos on Deleuze extremely helpful.

This should not be taken as an end all reading list on decolonial theory, in fact not all readings fall under the decolonial theory umbrella, but should help to inform and stimulate thinking on these issues.
